Rumor has it that The9, the company that runs World of Warcraft in China, will be releasing the game’s latest expansion there a week and a day from today, on February 19th, after holding a press conference a day earlier. We just recently got sent a question here at WoW Insider asking why the US and EU kills were often called “world firsts,” and this is why: China usually gets expansion content much later than the other regions of the game do.
But recently, Blizzard mentioned that they were aiming to release the content closer together, and this appears to be a result of that: it’s still not simultaneous, obviously, but a few months is better than a year or so. Apparently 17173.com has heard that China will be getting Wrath of the Lich King next week, so if that does happen, we can look for the first Chinese level 80 and the first Chinese clears of Naxx and the other endgame raids soon after that.

Sabal, the GM of Inner Circle on Gurubashi, was pretty unhappy when his starting team of raiders decided to ditch his guild and form their own, called Forged in Fury. In fact, he was so unhappy that he decided to put up a post on Inner Circle’s website, portraying the exiting raiders as mentally handicapped. We’re also told that after they all /gquit, he apparently gave them a week to come back before being “blacklisted.” FoF thought that was pretty funny: why would they leave and then decide they want back in right away? They’re off farming 10-man Naxx and OS, and working their way through The Eye. Good fun.

As of patch 3.0.9 Inner Fire will be less annoying due to some, amasingly enough, rather intelligent modifications!

The charges mechanic is still the same, wich doesn’t really bother me that much.

The duration of wich the buff is active has now been extended to 30 minutes wich is a simple yet VERY nice mod!

Inner Fire is made unable to be dispelled!

What this actually means to me is probably alot more positive than of the average PvP-priest. Since the buff more or less always is consumed by charges rather than by the duration being expired, the duration-improvement does not really mean anything in a PvP-point of view. But to me, a true PvE:er, it means i dont have to keep thinking of having Inner Fire up at all times yay! Jarheaded as i am, i consider these sorts of changes to be very appreciated. Furthermore, the fact that it should not be able to be dispelled anymore should’ve been implemented right from the start IMHO, or atleast along with Mages and Warlocks. But, as we all know, better late then never!

I am frantically searching for a place where i can continue building up my /played on. Not really easy since all the good cafés lies a good 30min walk, or more, from where my villa is. Getting an ISP to deliver a satisfying amount of bandwidth for a normal price is out of question aswell. An example: 8mbit/s Down 0,5Mbit/s Up, Cost: 256EUR/month. I lol’d.

Starting to get reaaally homesick now. Miss my two screens. Miss my CPU. Miss my keyboard. And above all… My (soon to be) Steelseries WoW Gaming Mouse WotLK Special Edition. And ofc, i miss all my friends..
